Another great pet portrait shoot, this time with a little Border Terrier.
It is great to have a bright coloured background at times to add a sense of fun and brightness to your room, but one of the issues is the colour cast. This is when the studio lights pick up the colour of the background and cast that colour onto the subject which is very hard to get rid of. Changing the colour after the picture has been taken is a great way to solve this problem. Here is an example, the same image with four different coloured backgrounds. Click the image to see more.

A few more images from my travels in India, this time from a small village in the Punjab, where I was made to feel most welcome by all the people I came across.
It was great fun 'shooting' Bee last weekend down in Sussex. She is such a happy dog, forever wanting to please.
A small sample of images here.
Otherwise known as Jaisalmer. It took me a number of visits to India before I got to explore Jaisalmer, built of beautiful rich yellow sandstone, with its magnificent fort sitting in an elevated position and dominating the skyline. I was lucky enough to spend several days there a few years ago and explore the narrow streets and alleys. A photographer's paradise of colour, it is perhaps with irony that I share these images, all bar one in Black & White.
I shall have to find the time to re-explore more of my older images from visits to India and other destinations.
I hope you enjoy these.
