A few days away in Aberystwyth.
The skies were grey until the day we left but it was great to have a short break and the dogs loved the beach, especially the expansive sands at Borth. It is also good to leave the big camera and lenses behind and just carry the lightweight Fuji and a single lens. Having that restriction is also a freedom as it is no longer possible to worry about which bit of kit would be best for the job and it helps to recharge the batteries of being able to see an image in a simple form, ie, just what is in front of you.
On another note, recharging the food batteries is also good and Medina, in the centre of Aberystwyth, is a great place for a late lazy lunch, in fact it was so good we went twice in three days!
All photos shot with a Fuji X-T1 and 18-55mm kit lens.
