Otherwise known as Jaisalmer. It took me a number of visits to India before I got to explore Jaisalmer, built of beautiful rich yellow sandstone, with its magnificent fort sitting in an elevated position and dominating the skyline. I was lucky enough to spend several days there a few years ago and explore the narrow streets and alleys. A photographer's paradise of colour, it is perhaps with irony that I share these images, all bar one in Black & White.
I shall have to find the time to re-explore more of my older images from visits to India and other destinations.
