With lockdown meaning no work for photographers, especially event photographers, I have had plenty of time to get on with some other projects I wanted to do, though with lockdown easing and enquiries for corporate work and headshots coming in, my free time will become more restricted. The garden is the biggest one for us at home and raised beds have been built and filled, a fruit cage now covers our raspberry canes and gooseberry bushes, both of which are full of fruit. It was the hottest couple of days in the year but I spent an enjoyable few hours in Cardiff Bay capturing a some images of subjects that I am not familiar with. It is always a boost to the creative juices taking on a new subject and seeing what can be done, looking for angles and compositions that please my eye and hopefully yours too. A few days away in Aberystwyth.The skies were grey until the day we left but it was great to have a short break and the dogs loved the beach, especially the expansive sands at Borth. It is also good to leave the big camera and lenses behind and just carry the lightweight Fuji and a single lens.
